Styling Jeans (gf, skinny, bootcut, etc.)

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! As we say goodbye to our shorts and flip-flops, we say hello to one of the most worn clothing pieces in the United States: jeans. The  styles of them are endless it seems like; ranging from girlfriend, flare, skinny, to colored. Today I am here to share with you how I style my different pairs of jeans. there are seven outfits and they are heard for late Summer/ early Fall. *Please keep in mind that I do not live in the same areas as you may. It is currently 85 and sunny almost everyday here, if you live in a cooler climate feel free to layer up or switch out some of the shoe choices.*

Dark Wash Skinny

Some of my most worn jeans are dark wash skinny jeans. I’ve been wearing them for as long as I can remember. It’s rather hot where I live right now but I am eager to jump into the fall styles. I’m pairing this maroon tank with some matching booties for an effortlessly chic outfit.

Distressed Bootcut

I love thrift stores and playing along with recent trends which is why last Fall when bootcut jeans just started to come back in style I picked up these beauties. The distressed, light wash, bootcut jeans tired perfectly with this frayed white top and bandana. It’s on the edgier side which I adore.

Ripped Black

My black skinny jeans are some of my favorites. I’m more of the girly type, but I feel so cool and confident in these bad boys. I picked them up from Gap and they pair perfectly with these quilted, slip on sneakers and my denim jacket.

This has to be one of my favorite outfits. I know that you’re not supposed to wear white pants after Labor day but we’ve all broken that rule a handful of times, haven’t we?! This off the shoulder top and espadrilles are so on trend right now and look so classy with the white jeans.

Medium Wash Skinny

I love a good pair of Converse and a flannel. These two pair so well with some medium wash skinny jeans for a casual school day look.

High Waisted

This look is so funky and boho hippyish which is why I love it. My high waisted jeans are always on repeat and I’ve been wanting to try the socks with Birkenstocks trend. They looked so cute with this fuzzy sweater and some frilly socks.

Light Wash Girlfriend

My favorite pair of jeans ever are these ones from gap. They are my most worn and look adorable with anything, as they are so flattering. I paired them with an olive green tee, and matched my bralette with my shoes for a super cute, in style look.

Hot Or Not: Boot Cut Jeans (thoughts and outfit)

Boot cut jeans; you either love them or you hate them. I remember being in the fourth grade and wearing them every single day. My sister wore skinny jeans but for some reason the thought of my pants being flared at the bottom made me feel so stylish. Come middle school,  grew out of boot cut jeans and felt that they were so unhip and refused to wear them ever again. However, as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to realize that there are no rules to fashion and if I like something I should wear it, regardless of what other people think. So when I came across this pair at the Gap Outlet for only $8.oo that fit absolutely perfectly, I decided it was a sign from above that these jeans belonged in my closet.IMG_1945

I think they’re he absolute cutest things and they look perfect with a blouse and booties or a simple tank and sandals. They can easily be worn from Fall to Spring which is another awesome thing about them and they are so flattering. They hug your legs in all the right places and make them look longer.

This is how I styled them for a day at school- shirt: Old Navy, bralette: American Eagle, jeans: Gap, sandals: Pierre Dumas, bracelets: Alex and Ani, Charming Charlies, DSW, necklace: Forever 21
